This is the card I made for the Friday Mashup. The challenge was to create a card that feature Punch Art of your favorite animal. I accidently made my owls look really sad. So, I've decided that this is what they look like after a night of celebration.

JUGS142: Live in the Sunshine with Field Flowers
I had a really tough time with this challenge. This week's Just Us Girls challenge was to create a Summer/BBQ theme project. Mine is a little far from this. I just couldn't create a card that I like using red and yellow. I also didn't really have any food or BBQ themed stamps. So, I focused on the color yellow and summer.
I also tried something new. I love patterned paper. I wish SU had more of it. But, I have My Digital Studio. So, I found some patterned paper I liked and printed it out. It worked rather well. I will certainly do this again.

FM64: Birthday Celebration with Pennant Parade
I recently learned that Card Patterns was going to discontinue their weekly challenge. Boo! So, I began looking for a new challenge blog. Hooray! I stumbled upon the Friday Mashup. How did I not know about this challenge blog. It is awesome! They mashup two challenges. How fun. This week the challenge was to create a box in a bag with a party time theme.
I thought Pennant Parade was the perfect stamp set to use for this challenge. It is very party time-y, don't you think? This card was totally inspired by a card I saw on Splitcoast. You can find it here. I also really really really tried to create a box in a bag. But, I wasn't feeling well this week and I started to get frustrated because it just wasn't turning out the way I wanted it to. So, I cheated a little bit and used the Fancy Favor Bigz XL die from Stampin' Up!

PP100: Thanks with Rue des Fleurs
Congratulations to the Paper Players for celebrating their 100th challenge. I have found so much inspiration from the Paper Players. This week's challenge was to find a favorite past challenge and create a brand new card. I chose two cards. A sketch challenge and a color challenge. To create the background paper, I collage stamped on Crumb Cake DSP using Elementary Elegance stamp set from Stampin' Up! I was a bit addicted to collage stamping this weekend. I actually made three cards using the technique.
