FMS74: Happiness with Secret Garden
I saw this technique on Splitcoast and I had to try it. You stamp with Versamark and then emboss with White embossing powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. With an aqua painter and White Craft ink you color in the image and let dry. You can then color in the image with either water color pencils or use the marker layering technique. Blend the colors with the color blender tool.

cQc177: For You with Feeling Sentimental
I really had a tough time putting together a card with this color combination. I kept trying to different stamp sets, but not liking what I created with them. After looking at the colors for a while I realized that the Crumb Cake, Pool Party and Always Artichoke were close to the colors used to create faux patina. So, I decided to go with a vintage looking card. And, of course, since it is vintage I had to go with my new favorite vintage stamp set -- Feeling Sentimental.
When I struggle with a color challenge it always makes me realize how much talent the design team has. They come up with amazing cards week after week.

PP133: Baby Mobile Card
This is the card I made for the Paper Players challenge. The challenge was to have a card that focused on buttons and bows for baby. It was a really tough challenge for me. I don't have any baby stamp sets. What is with that? Well, what is a crafter to do when they don't have a stamp set...well, paper piece of course! Hopefully you can tell that the umbrella looking object is in fact a baby mobile. :-) I'm not sure if this card meets the CAS part of the challenge though!

DD40: The Sky's the Limit
This is the card I made for the Dynamic Duo card Challenge. The colors were Tempting Turquoise and Basic Black. I am short on supplies for Tempting Turquoise (YIKES, how did that happen?) so I substituted Pacific Point. There was also a dessert option of clouds. I used the new Cloud Day embossing folder from Stampin' Up! on the Pacific Point cardstock. At first the embossing didn't stand out much and was hard to see. So, I sponged a bit of Whisper White Craft Ink over the raised parts of the cardstock.
